Excellent analysis: clear, logical and objective. Europe is entering a self-centered phase. Without natural energy resources and a costly labour force, it would be looking inward and lose its competitive edge. China, on the other hand, will slow down its Belt and Road initiative in Europe to almost a halt, developing quickly thanks to African and Asian destinations, as well as Russia. It is obvious who is going to be a loser and who is going to be a winner.

I am not sure anyone should feel grateful to the Europeans and the West in general. The Europeans got to where they are because they plundered everything. Including technology and skills. While they were using iron and bronze for their infighting. Asia(which includes West Asia or labeled Middle East by the Brits. Asia was using steel and other very advanced materials. Such as porcelain otherwise known as China. And as for agriculture. That was also advanced in the non-European world. Things like the cotton gin and other technologies were already used well before the West took credit for it. China already had come up with a very ancient mechanical analog computer. We all know of silk, gun powder, and so on from China. But there are so many other things which we are made to think we're the inspiration and innovations of the West. For instance paper currency was a Chinese innovation. If not for the murderous colonial rampage that pillaged and plundered from the rest of the world. The West would still be a backward civilization. The third world and developing world would be the West. What the West's only real accomplishments are. It is being the most aggressively hostile civilization in history. The most devious and deceptive civilization. Darkly cunning and violently murderous.

The Europeans need to reset their priorities. The Russian Federation is what can bring Europe out of it's economic, social, political decline. China tried to restore the "Silk Road" to Europe so that its products would not have to be imported to Europe by sea, but by rail. This bothered someone very much, and so there is a war in Ukraine and there is no land route from China to Europe, and someone is profiting from it. It is not Ukraine or Russia.
EU is actually the former colonizers of Africa, India, Indonesia, Midden/South America. Now moving towards East Europe. Period.
