U-TUBE: No one is going to break a Chinese blockade on Taiwan: Kishore Mabumani: 30-05-2026: COMMENTS: CNN**********

The west perspective of China is their own sick hypocrisy not reality.
158
Everytime I listen to these Western pundits, I feel like I lose some brain cells. SMH.
310
i, an American and 4-year Navy veteran am VERY proud of China 🇨🇳!!!!
140
the US loss in Iran is a lesson on the limits of US power, not for China’ power over Taiwan.
179
US government, using taxpayers money to fight for their financial donors and to destroy other nations 😡 Chinese government, using taxpayers money to invest on their infrastructure and people
118
This Haas guy is an old aged fox, who thinks he is so cunning and smart, but the whole world is not that stupid anymore..Kishore is a Sun tzu of the new world.
183
The United States of Epstein is suffering from a severe case of CDS — China Derangement Syndrome.
77
It is hard to reason with the dinosaurs. I am sick of these West media BS.
43
Just don't buy US soybeans. US will collapse.
30
Unlike the US, China does not dream of planetary hegemony but rather of a strong Asia that can be part of the multipolar world.
88
It is truly astounding how clueless Richard Haass is about China.
55
US soldiers haven’t fought a real war since 1945. Counterinsurgencies aren’t real wars.
52
Those idiots keep saying China invading Taiwan, how could they be so stupid they don't know Taiwan is part of China. We just want to unify Taiwan.
62
Hass' job is to dumb down and gaslight the Americans, keep them in their dream and delay their awakening. The later the American bubble bursts, the more damage it will inflict.
55
Richard Haas didnt seem to understand the world had changed beyond recognition, but he's still living in the cocoon of his own ignorance. Kishore's always brilliant.❤indonesia
26
I am a Malaysian, we have strong trade ties with China. Almost everything we buy and use is made in China. From our phones, tablets, TVs, kitchen appliances, every light bulb.. everything is made in China even the can food. There are some American brands here, Lays, Doritos, Apple, Dell.. but they're all manufactured in China as well. Very recently, the US is trying to sell Malaysia missiles!!! ASEAN is a peaceful region. It has been that way for decades. So why would we need to buy the missiles America is trying to sell us? All America is good for is death and destruction! That's what they sell to the world!! Military industrial complex!!
19
The U.S couldn't defeat the Taliban after 20 years, struggling against Iran and thinks it can contain and take on China? 😂 Decades of war experience hasn't taught the U.S a thing about facing-off with a peer military capable of hitting back harder. They have allowed decades of bullying poor, defenceless countries to feed a fantasy scenario in their heads where they are an omnipotent power.
75
❤Well done Chinese government. KEEP moving FORWARD. Cooperation is BETTER than conflict.
11
You are absolutely right, Mr Mhabubani.
26
global impulse
·
Richard Haass has dementia🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
22
Respekt für China. ✊🇨🇳✌️
5
Hass is dated & obsolete, literally & with his views too 😂
30
I wish I had been made in China. Greetings from Iceland.
30
China haven't fought a war. Where's those American boots on the Iranian ground?
8
China lucky that America had this scholar
26
If Taiwan is considered part of China under both the international One China framework and the constitutions of the Republic of China and People's Republic of China, then from a purely democratic perspective, the collective will of 1.4 billion people on the mainland would inevitably carry more weight than the preferences of 23 million people in Taiwan.
31
CNN is becoming the same narrative as CBS and the main, FOX....
43
Russia is not foundling against the proxy Ukraine. It’s the USA and NATO alliance that is losing
12
China's way to fight without fighting. Do not interrupt your enemy while they are making mistake after mistake.
11
Don’t forget that new 1.3 million Chinese engineering students per year is 10 times the U.S. PLUS, Whatever they graduate in the U.S. per year has at least 30 percent Chinese students in that number. They’re just waiting to return to China. So it’s actually 15 times more than the U.S.
73
Prof Kishore is just wasting his breath. These people just chose to not understand at all. instead chose to just push their narrative. Is obvious they had ill intention all along.
21
Why are western countries so interested in Taiwan independence more than the current Genocide in Gaza? If Taiwan wasn’t the house of the most powerful semiconductor manufacturing industry, would the west care so much about what ever happening between Taiwan and China? One thing the west is missing: China just need to do one thing, beat the west at their own game by making the Taiwanese semiconductor industry irrelevant, building cheaper and as powerful semiconductor even with all the western sanctions and poli-economical containment policies.
83
Why are people only concerned about Chinese population decrease but completely ignore the fact that every single high income country in the world has a low birth rate 😅
23
800 million still bigger than Taiwan and USA.
12
“. Every war America fought and fighting is a gift for China; it gets time to keep progressing and America keeps getting weaker”—-Kishore Mahbubani. Agreed. ❤
6
Chinese economy is huge, mostly vibrant. The export numbers have never been better since “Liberation day”, the world has benefited from China’s growth.
20
You see, the only thing China has to do, is to do absolutely NOTHING, no reaction, no interference, no intervention.
7
1) In 1894, Japan invaded China and Korea, China Qing govt was defeated and signed the [Treaty of Shimonoseki] to cede Taiwan Island to Japan. 2) During the WW2, at the Cairo Conference held in 1943, China asked the transfer of Taiwan's sovereignty back to China after the war. This content was included in the [Cairo Declaration] and later reiterated in the [Potsdam Proclamation] that it should be implemented. 3) On 14 Aug & 2 Sept 1945, the Emperor and govt of Japan issued the [End War Edict] and [Japanese Instrument of Surrender] , Japan surrendered and accepted the [Potsdam Proclamation]. The Japanese troops in Taiwan surrendered to KMT General CKS. Taiwan re-entered the territory of the Republic of China (ROC). 4) Soon after that China civil war broke out in between KMT and CCP, the KMT was defeated and fled to Taiwan. However, due to US military intervention, the CCP without strong navy at that time has no ability to unify Taiwan. The CCP then established the People's Republic of China (PRC) in 1949. The civil war continues..... 5) In 1971, UN Resolution No. 2758 ruled that the PRC had obtained the representation rights and all legal rights originally owned by the ROC in the UN. That means the PRC is China’s only legal govt under international law which recognized by UN and 181 countries around the world, including the USA. "The USA recognizes the Government of the PRC as the sole legal Government of China." "The USA acknowledges the Chinese position that there is but one China and Taiwan is part of China." Joint Cummunique on the Establishment of Diplomatic relations between the PRC and the USA in 1979. (Please further refer to President Jimmy Carter's Speech on Relations with China.) 6) Therefore, according to international law, international reality, and the wishes of the 1.4 billion Chinese people, Taiwan should return to PRC and the PRC have every rights to protect it's sovereign integrity.
16
When China has too many ppl, the West complains about their one child policy. Now, their population is heading toward a healthier amount, the West still fear mongering China population problem lol
26
The empire will always win with exceptionalism ! 🤔😳

In my room ? Made in USA : Zero Made in China : My AC, fan, bed, mattress, cabinets, desk, TV, my PS5, my phone, my watch, my bags, clothes, headphones, luggage, torch light, lighters, wallet, sunglasses, hell, even my wall plugs and switches. lol. This is just my room.
34
Almost every US war is intended to strangle China.
4
Saying Taiwan Isn’t 🇨🇳 Is Like Saying Siberia Isn’t 🇷🇺
2
This Haas is still living in his la la land. Just wondering when he will wake up get back to the real world
5
Taiwan districts are the most important part of China and it's impossible for China to separate from China itself my friend . So beat it
7
台湾自古以来就是祖国不可分割的一部分! 中国人骨子里最深的执念、山河必须完整、台湾必须统一、回归祖国! 祖国万岁、万万岁! 🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳✊✊✊

One more thing, of that 33 percent Chinese engineering students graduating in the U.S. at graduate level , not bachelor level are most likely the absolute top talents compared to others here in the states. Over 80 percent of them will return to China. That’s where the money and opportunities are most abundant
10
When people talk about Taiwan China relationship, there are also important historical realities that are often left out of this discussion. First, the Republic of China did not originally built Taiwan independently from scratch after 1949. After losing the Chinese Civil War, the ROC retreated to Taiwan while taking much of China’s national gold reserves and state resources with it. Taiwan’s later development was therefore connected to resources accumulated from mainland China before the split. Second, the ROC lost the mainland largely because it lost support from large sections of the Chinese population, especially peasants and rural communities, due to corruption, economic instability, and failure to address grassroots conditions. The victory of the Chinese Communist Party was not simply military; it was also political and social. Third, people often frame Taiwan today purely through the lens of democracy, but Taiwan itself was under authoritarian KMT rule and martial law for decades before democratization in the late 90's. In fact, much of Taiwan’s industrial and economic rise occurred during that authoritarian period, not after democratization. Most importantly, even under the ROC’s own constitutional framework, Taiwan was never defined as a separate independent country from China. The ROC constitution historically claimed sovereignty over all of China, including the mainland and Taiwan. The dispute was about which government represented China, not whether Taiwan had separated into a completely different state. So if Taiwan is constitutionally part of China under both the ROC and the People's Republic of China (PRC) frameworks, and the PRC is internationally recognized by the UN and the overwhelming majority of countries as the legitimate government of China, then from the standpoint of international diplomacy the ROC becomes the unrecognized competing illegitimate authority, regardless of how people frame the issue politically. And regarding the United States, its involvement is not purely about defending democracy out of goodwill. Taiwan is strategically important within the first island chain and broader U.S.-China geopolitical competition. From Beijing’s perspective, this is not only about historical claims, but also about national security and preventing foreign containment close to its coastline. At the end of the day, this issue is not as simple as “democracy versus authoritarianism.” It is deeply tied to history, civil war, sovereignty, geopolitics, and national security on all sides.
15
China doesn't need to 'invade' its own island Taiwan. Millions of Taiwanese already living and working in the Mainland. Taiwan government under is a minority government supported by <40% of the island's population
5
This Richard fellow is arguing that China will be weakened because of population decline? Is he an intelligent person?
14
Every accusation from the west is a confession 😂
4
Does anyone, aside me, had ever thought that over the past decades, the western media always seems has too many contradictories at themselves? One day, they blabbering about the 'China threat', and then the other day, they blabbering about 'China is collapsing', and they keep changing the narratives from time to time or always ends it with the overused catchphrase 'BUT AT WHAT COST?". So, which one is the actual 'truth'???🤣🤡🥴😵‍💫🤷🏻
46
zakaria , thank you for bringing "idiots " to the show sometimes, it gives a good contrast how dumb is that guy compared to that Kishore gentleman. What does he know besides parroting the same of Anti China BS.. DANG
10
I could nobody should break down Taiwan blockade with 1000% confidence.
1
China's population is aging and so is everyone else including Taiwan and Japan. Richard Haas seemed to have forgotten that the rest of the world is not static like China.😂
28
15:12 Well, US is still depending on McDonald and US fast food chains to conquest China ~ FOX news 😂😂
11
Kishore is like a laser beam!!!! 😂😂😂
4
I would rather be the man that has the goods than the man that needs the goods.
1
The world needs China more than any other country
1
goodwill for all mankind, regardless of politics and race
So pathetic that us still think it's the greatest.???
3
America and their allies are living in a make-believe world. A world where they are the strongest and the most powerful forever. They are right now living in denial. If they are as good as Haas is saying why then they have lost every war and conflict since WW2?
4
China’s birth rate decline is not that much different to the USA’s and UK’s, and their decline is going nosedive because of their awful immigration policies, driven by rampant, ideologically motivated racism

I am an Indian living in Hong Kong. While looking around my flat, I noticed that most of the items around me are from mainland China, except a few things—like some traditional dresses—that we brought from India. Nowadays, we use a Chinese app called *Pintoto* to order almost everything for our home: food and kitchen items, toiletries, dresses, sports articles, and more. What amazes me is that the prices are extremely cheap compared with what we can buy locally in Hong Kong—prices there are already cheaper than in Western countries and the United States. For example, we ordered *three kilos of mangoes* for just a little more than **USD 3**. The mangoes tasted very good—maybe not “the best,” but honestly, the value was mind-blowing. Even more surprising is the delivery: they charge nothing for delivery and it’s fast. This alone makes me rethink how global supply chains are working. The same is true for other things we buy—dates, caps, and many items for my kids also come from deep inside China, from places like **Urumqi**. People say China is already a superpower—and in my view, it has. What worries me is that the rest of the world, especially the West, still seems to “sleepwalk” about what is going on. The United States often behaves like a hegemony, but China is building friendships across the world. When I first travelled to Shenzhen around the time I arrived in Hong Kong to live, Shenzhen reminded me a lot of Chennai in India—there were many poor people begging on the streets. But nowadays, the situation feels totally different. I can genuinely say China has lifted *hundreds of millions of people* out of poverty. In India, however, there are still millions of people who remain very poor and sometimes go to bed hungry. I can continue describing many positive changes, but overall it’s clear to me that China has risen—“as clear as the sun.” Yet the West still seems to pretend not to notice. If they want to avoid their own decline, they should work together with China. Cooperation would actually benefit them instead of harming them now and later.

"No country or person is too small to deserve freedom." - VP of Taiwan
In case of a blockade, Taiwain can last, even assuming a ferocious rationing, only a few months. No need of a physical invasion.
12
Mahbubani always do some Suplex with this US commentator😂

0 made in US while nearly 99% made in China

Haas says: "China has repressed domestic demand." As if Chinese people are being deprived of glorious American products. If only the Chinese government would allow them in. What hogwash! First, I think that when the Chinese see a popular product, they think "We could make a better product." And secondly, it has been my experience from what I saw with friends and their families in Beijing, Chinese people are incredibly frugal and innovative. (Sorry for the generalization, everyone's different). Even though my friend's parents could move to a fancy place (both them and most certainly their son-in-law are well off), they refuse to do so...which is not much different in the US as I know old folks that are never going to leave the place they were born and raised in, own outright and all their friends live there too. Now this may be limited to my circle of friends, but they are innovative to a fault. Why buy something when I can repair/re-engineer/create it and save 20 cents? And I get that as I am kinda the same if only I had access to the supply chain to make it happen. Need a resistor and a knob? Delivered next day. And not at the huge markup parts cost in the US.
