Keep up the good work. Congratulations to the team.😊 3 Reply @outsidewell6932 4 days ago Emperor Jian Wen escaped to the southern coastal province of Fujian. He became a monk and was buried in nearby hills after he died of an old age. His tomb was later found to contain all the markings of Ming royal symbols. The records showed that Zheng He went to that temple twice and gave lavish royal gifts to the temple before and after his sea voyage from Fujian. 4 Reply @indrajitgupta3280 4 days ago Fascinating video. Thanks. 1 Reply @lotus6560 6 days ago Thank you for another interesting video 9 Reply @colinbateman8233 3 days ago I’d love to hear more on the exploration of the Chinese I think there’s possibly that they may have traveled to north or South America at some point we in the west commonly consider the history that we learn to be complete and factual when the reality is, is that you look at the Polynesians and the distance that they’ve traveled there isn’t any reason to believe that they couldn’t have also been to South America or parts of North America. It would be interesting to know other cultures, history, and how it compares toEuropean western version of history which as a Canadian living in the United States my view is that we have a tainted view of history in the sense that we only have a one-sided conversation if that makes sense I look forward to learning more. 1 Reply @SteveYap-bp3im 4 days ago Chinese Ming dynasty navy also visit Darwin (Australia) and present Florida in America. World's No 1 navy at the time. 2 Reply @thomaskathy1 5 days ago A very interesting historical aspect of Zheng He (correct pronounciation: is Zh… Her) exploration 10 Reply 1 reply @GeorgeTSiy 5 days ago (edited) The official and the unofficial explanations are not contrary . The long period of not interpreting the tablets language is sheer incompetence or negligence of the people involved, not bec they couldn't figure it out ... With dragon symbol, size of tablet, obvious guess shd hav been Chinese. Ming period already used same scripts. The British were avid historians and normally would dig into such things , so the tablet was just never studied or brought to attention of scholars. Means also that the population of the area never bothered to remember the event the stone was made centuries earlier for commemoration and learning, opening access. Doubtless correlation can be made to speed ofnprogress of a civilization. The Chinese culture of putting records in stone on such events served it's purpose if surviving not only time but ravages of lack of curiosity or misuse like tuening to stone floors. Many such case in many parts of the world, like in Philippines.. where historical writings in stone are turned to floor tiles 12 Reply 1 reply @philoso377 5 days ago I have one question. With a fleet this large do they have communication and organizational problem from ship to ship? 9 Reply 4 replies @Steven-k8t 5 days ago PLease post the full translation of that tablet inscription. Thx in advance! 7 Reply 1 reply @benkenobi292 5 days ago Why is he sometimes referred to as Zheng He and sometimes as Cheng Ho? 5 Reply 5 replies @gwang3103 5 days ago It's good that Zheng He never colonized any of the countries he went to. Unlike later Europeans. By the way, the correct pronunciation for the 'He' in Zheng He is her, not hee. 7 Reply 1 reply @richardyatesyates3893 5 days ago Best He info.❤😊 Reply @EddieTsui 5 days ago Pronounce the “He” in “Zhen He” as “her” not “He”. 7 Reply 4 replies @chintham2861 5 days ago Later on it was mentioned that the tablet was installed in a prominant place. The Sri Lankans obviously took the table like the Americans who brought down Saddam Hussein's statue, threw it into the water showing disgust. Of course, over centuries, the modern Sri Lankans lost the memory of Zheng He but still use Chinese fishing nets on the shore. 4 Reply @bjung8858 2 days ago Zheng He sailed West to find the last survivor of the last dynasty. Chinese cared less about trade. Personally, I think Zheng wanted to find a way to Mecca because he was a Muslim 1 Reply @chew5461-l7f 5 days ago Trust the British to be so ignorant to use the tablet as a floor tile!!!!!! I suspect it was spiteful and deliberate! 7 Reply 3 replies @legpol 4 days ago (edited) China & World History, the stone tablet was not brought to Sri Lanka 600 years ago by Zheng He because no original owner showed up to claim it. It was a plant planted by modern men of the 1911 years. If the Zheng He voyages were history, paper would do a far better job as evidence than stone. Unfortunately the Zheng He voyages was a novel, not a history and therefore no paper evidence was found. You see? Whenever Zheng He arrived at the sea shore, he must write a letter on paper to inform the local governments of his arrival; and the governments must reply on paper. Was there such correspondence exchange? If none, it logically proved that Zheng He never went there. It was all a novel. 1 Reply @who-dn5cl 5 days ago Ancient Chinese had the spirit of discovery ( not exploitative nor colonialist intentions unlike the West ). Return of the Chinese civilisation in modern times promises great Maritime trade. to come. 17 Reply 6 replies @pdmv8471 3 days ago I think they knew full well where Jianwen went to. He renounced the world and became a Buddhist monk. Of greater concern to the Ming would be the families of the previous "Chinese" Dynasty...the Song. Ah, the Ming. The banana and orange cult....aka the sun and moon cult. Interesting Tibetan iconography. Dong Fang bu bai, anyone. Reply @emeritusprof.datolim4741 5 days ago His name should be pronounced as Cheng Her 1 Reply @legpol 4 days ago Reply @sinamark-com 4 days ago Admiral Zheng He is pronounced Jeng Húh - not Heee Reply @yogikarl 5 days ago Please pronounce his name correctly 3 Reply @thomasridenour277 3 days ago read the book , 1421 for more insight Reply @gideonchoong2534 5 days ago Part of Zheng He fleet went round the Cape of Good Hope and reach Europe This fleet led by Zheng He 's 2nd in command settle in Europe and help spread naval technology to the Europeans who later colonized the rest of the world Zheng He has no balls to sail round the Cape of Good Hope because of the treacherous sea 1 Reply 1 reply @godivachoco6509 4 days ago I liked your video but you must learn to pronounce Chinese names and places correctly.
