Since the time China existed they never attacked any country, from ancient times they sailed to Malacca and even to Nigeria and other countries in Africa and never established themselves as conquerors. It all started when Marco Polo announced that in China there were items of gold, silver, silk and spices. The UK came as a trading mission and showed interest to buy silk, tea and spices but had to pay in silver. This is similar to how Columbus discovered America and caused the extermination of the Incas. But when the UK could not afford their own lifestyle they wanted to pay in opium. Opium which the UK bought from India which caused numerous wars and as always 9 western countries joined in to conquer a piece of China which they succeeded. Hong Kong to the UK, Shanghai to Germany, Macau to Portugal. That is why the Chinese call it the century of humiliation. And because China fought against 9 countries they lost the wars and had to pay 40,000 tons of silver as war debt as compensation. So China ended up in poverty, land in ruins and debt to pay and the people suffered in poverty. Even the US was there in 1900 and 1917-1918. Do you think the Chinese will forget because the Chinese always remember what caused the suffering and pain because they have always been peaceful?

Slowly but surely, China begins to make steady progress towards its defense industries.
China is progressing well with its military technology.
China’s military developments is about protecting the country and ensuring national security.
China is protecting its sovereignty by defending itself against US hegemony.
With over 790 military bases all around the world, the US can attack and invade other countries to force compliance and total submission to its whim.
The fact that China is surrounded by some 40 US bases with new bases in Philippines, Australia, all the way up through the Pacific, across to Asia, to Korea and Japan and Okinawa and all aimed at the industrial heartland of China.
China’s ability to innovate and develop advanced defense technologies ingenuously for its self-defense.
This advancement marks a crucial step in China’s military technology, enhancing its strategic capabilities in electronic warfare.
China is slowly bolstering its military capabilities and has undergone a transformative upgrade in China defense against an unfriendly country.
China is not competing in the race with any countries.
China has to prepare and protect itself from the belligerent US in the event of any aggressive threat from the US.
China has come a long way and has been making steady progress in its defense industries to protect the country.
China is not interested in the US nor care about US hegemony.
China is not interested in US predominance nor is interested in US foreign policy.
China is taking it all in its stride to deal with the belligerent US.

Your reports are really excellent summaries on a variety of important topics, put in laymen’s terms. Very well-done with not a lot of biases, but rather done from the perspective of a very-well informed person.
They are great contributions to everyone’s understanding. Thanks!

Well done. Added context is the 'pivot' of the US toward the Far East to spread wars there and continue to make money from weapons industries. Secondly think of the real wars lost there by the US: Korea, Vietnam. This strategy forces China to become the regional hegemon to secure its area.

As a peace ☮️ loving country, China do the best focusing on people’s wealthiest and nation prosperity.
However, the adversary might miscalculate the country’s military power from time to time, just like Admiral Samuel Paparo, the commander of US Indo-Pacific Command, told The Washington Post in June 11, 2024 that “I want to turn the Taiwan Strait into an unmanned hellscape using a number of classified capabilities.” How about 1 million military drones PLA order to be delivered in 2027. Yeah, hellscape, To whom?

This video is mostly correct up until 5 min mark, the rest is inaccurate characterizations of China and guessing of China's planning and thinking. China's development was actually not a secret but western anti-China policies had definitely pushed China to become stronger. A lot of China's development plan never have the west in mind but Chinese people in mind. China was always there and it was only recently that the west decided to start paying attention. A lot of modern China was planned and built since the founding of the nation with the national goal of improving it's people's lives, robust economy, to build a strong nation to resist hostile forces. The apologist Western decline commentary from you should not be made in contrast of China's rise but instead caused by the western political class empire building, becoming a war economy and overrun by the oligarchies and crony Capitalism.

Nicely portrayed the entire development strategy of China.
One thing great about China is that their long term planning and execution is next to none. They often complete projects before schedule.
These all could happen because of visionary leadership.
American journalist Edgar Snow in his book "Red star over China" had written how China struggled in earlier days when labor to leaders used to wear blue Mao suits.
They used hand tools only for infrastructures.
Two important plans/targets, first to attain 70% self sufficiency in semiconductor chip production and catching up the USA in military might by 2027 will certainly revert the world affairs from West to East for sure.

Spot on Elon. Except you miss one important point. The important point is: war is the most destructive endeavor. China has not participated in a war for over 40 years. The war against Vietnam was a limited war, telling Vietnam not to become ambitious and expand in South East Asia.
No war, use all the resources to build up the economy, the education, the infrastructure, the scientific research institutions.
Not only that, military build up came after the economy improved. In the 1980s, China reduced the size of their army three times. The military is expensive and a necessary evil.

Every cause has the reason behide.
When a person using ..
1) All his resources,
2) Gathering all his allies and 3) Showing all his advanced weapons..
To threaten someone, someone has the right to defend and fight back for his safety and God sounds...
It should be like this as well.
There are things that causing someone out of his mind and making him sounds like nuts or idiots, when he believes these are true as follows:
1) The fact is in 1979, US President Jimmy Carter says "There is 1 China and Taiwan is part of China'.
However, US is selling weapons to Taiwan for keeping Taiwan away from China.
(There are contradiction between the two.)
2) The fact is US has 750 military base around the world.
However, US keeps on telling the world and US herself, other countries are threatening US security...
3) and more & more, etc...
Lastly, how far a person can go, when he believes and relies on all the lies (he made up) as the truths for survival?
