We're living in a changing world and the people who refuse to adapt will have to face the worst consequences. No power can stay on top for ever. Unfortunately for the US citizens, they keep choosing people who accelerate their fall.
China always wanted to maintain a stable relationship with America politically and economically but unfortunately US always seeks conflicts and impose all sorts of rulings to contain the rise of China. US administration would talk one thing and do another thing due to hegemonic and colonial mentality.
Very awesome it was a stupid thing for americans believe that the biggest economy of this planet will obey to the nonsense and become a slave of americans policy
I feel a reenactment of the great depression a century ago. All those with first hand knowledge are now gone and we rely on the not so accurate history books. Failure of agricultural markets is an indicator. My wife lived through perestroika in russia and that has similarities to what is happening in the western world. Trump could very well achieve the same as what Gorbachev did in russia when he tipped economic markets upside down. The only winner in russia were the oligarchs and the same thing could happen in the usa.
A trade war with China is the 2nd worst thing that can happen to the American people. China cam stop buying American goods but America CAN'T stop buying Chinese goods because Americans do NOT Chinese goods in America. Does anyone living in America see Chinese brands being sold in the country? Brands like Huawei, DJI, Xiaomi, Geely, BYD, Tencent, Douyin, OPPO are not household names on the shelves of American retailers.
What about Made in China? Goods Americans buy that are made in China are American brands made in China, not Chinese brands. Americans can stop buying Made in China but it hurts the American consumer most having to buy alternatives at higher prices. Next most affected are the American corporations losing sales in America. The least affected by a trade war are the Chinese workers making American goods in China. In 2014, U.S.-based multinational affiliates employed a mere 1.7 million workers in China, with nearly half of them working in manufacturing.
Unfortunately most American people don't know this.
Why must China always be the party to react to the US policies? It's about time for China to initiate policies against the US's crude and rude sanctions and let them react to it this time instead!
Do what big US box stores are doing filling their stores with products that will be on the tariff list . Then sell them at inflated price in Jan
I bought all my big items for the house and outside
Now I understand why so many store names in America are closing or scaling back - they are stores that sell many made in China items (they're planning ahead).
Bye bye Miss America eating pie, when you drive to the levy the levy will be dry…Trumps good ole boys will still be drinking whiskey and rye singing how did we vote for America to die?
China leaders repeatedly tell the American leaders that:
雙方合作,雙贏
双方合作,双赢
(Cooperation between both parties, win-win).
The alternative is "lose-lose".
Now it is up to USA to select which path to go forward next.
Very clear USA is one hegemon nation.
First, they were the ones wanted globilisation, then want or pry open China market (for US capitalists), and they were successful indeed, here right ( evidence of the huge earnings from US Corporations ).
Then, by US hegemon nature went wars on other nations (simply with US ideologies) instead of to spend invest on US itself.
China had planned for growth, development etc. and all in full transparency about China endeavour here.
Now that US seen China progress, development as a threat ( to US hegemon state) - suddenly want to CONTAIN China further development, growth, simply.
President Donald Trump came up with this Tarffi crap again when he made that damn call while everyone was focusing on illegal immigration. Now you tell me ( blind side hello it wasn't us the American voters, blame the government and all those politicians up there in the White House. Hell some of us had to look it up and DAMN I'm Speechless.me i am making a survivor pantry of foods and everything before things go up so high we won't be able to buy freaking toilet paper.
The US should make a new deal with Brazil, South Africa, and India. And similar nations. With DEMOCRACY at its core. Because let’s the honest. The final war is only for one thing. The end or continuation of democracy…….
"Isolationism" and "dollar hegemony" are mutually exclusive. You can't eat two melons at the same time. It seems that the United States has to choose a sweeter melon, but remember to repay its debts.
China wants to help the good American taxpayers.
You are not forced to buy chinese goods .
You are forced to pay more for any products that's not made in America.
LET'S CALL A SPADE, A SPADE.
The US (and gang) love to accuse China of
1) Unfair trade practises like subsidies.
# What do they meant by unfair trade practises? Are they trying to say if their production cost is $100 & they need to sell at $120 in order to make a profit, the rest of the world must follow their way?
2) Forced technology transfers.
# If you think you can reap huge profits selling on the Chinese market but are unwilling to share your technology, nobody can force you. Just get out & get lost. You can have your cake and eat it.
3) Intellectual / technology theft.
# If your secrets can be so easily to steal, they deserved to be stolen. So dun cry over spilled milk.
What's the difference between tariffs and sanctions? They amount to about the same thing. Except they increase cost to it's citizens. The country that impose the sanctions is the looser in this event. It's so much easier to subsidise it own industries to stay competitive.
When you look at the difference in the markets between the US and Chinese, honestly I would think that the Chinese market would be hit harder if the Chinese exports ended up being banned when you look at how more companies are not only leaving China and how their markets are compared with the US. Also besides that when you look at the BRICS with two countries (Russia & China) involvement in different situations, I think that the Chinese market would be more likely to fall apart like tofo dreg than the American markets. Since Trump won it's already hitting the Chinese market and yuan values.
Like any country, China protects its interests. There are costs to Trumps policies that have been ignored and China has experience with Trump and is reacting accordingly.
China’s policy are very smart intelligent .China understands
all enemies and real friends
China got best experiences and best lessons in governing their big country 5:21
Here is how I see it. Less than 1 third of the people voted and more than half of them voted for Trump..., so don't start crying now. If you didn't vote then you don't have the right to complain.
anyway US product got the best quality if China getting from other countries so be it.lets change of products what other countries need.when i was young US produce the best chocolate in the world even milk my country Philippines love all US product.
Millions of US voters believe Donald Trump will give us a booming economy, a strong Wall Street, an increase in our standard of living and more peace in a troubled world, He has promised this and believes he can deliver. Let us give him a chance.
These things that we export belongs to the elites and oligarchies. I wish gnose people s good luck in their business. Maybe. The elite start be nice for a change, they might have more customers in. Future??? Who am I yo say those things??? Remember customers service guys??? Bring nice to others will create more money right,???
Nice to rebrush on modern Chinese history, yes I noticed China’s tilt towards latam, last year I was watching an Argentine news channel ‘la nacion’ a lot, and the topic of Brazilian and Argentina agriculture expert to china would come up often, also with other nations, and chinas growing influence in the region. Trump came to power promising to cut taxes and replace the flow with tariffs on china, we’ll see how this plays out and if china was ahead of the curb?
I think it's wise for many countries to reduce dependency on them Americans market as they not worthy working with anyway,in this scenario the united states of America has alot whole more to loose bigtime an inflicted American problem which will bring them down period.
us not force any cunty pless becose not amrica give all cunty food all is pepole is work and ned food so all thir way amrica you tac care of your slif cograsulaion devalop ment many pepole in amrica face pain all old forgat pless all is well
Come on, that's a bit over the top from your title above. The moment you write something like that - then everyone in the US will think you are Bullshitting. US will not collapse, just the people would suffer a little, that is all, not fatal.
China should cut off dependence in supply to US. US weaponized its imports. So, leave it alone. There are plenty countries and people welcome Chinese quality products.
Not difficult to forsee--- 1) trade difficultir with CHINA will cause XI to tip-toe toward his BRIICS pals nd purchase agricutural goods from them (esp. wheat, corn, soybeans) which will imoact American farmers in the wallet but help BRAZIL in oarticular. 2) Russia will ask the U.S. Dept. of State pointed questiojs about her favorite allies in the Middle East -why she needs them and ht woud happen should a bug "Act of God" like a prophesued big eartquakestrike by surprise and trigger a war there? Surely America could never send an all-Christuan military to fce down some al-Muslim armies- shoukd they ever be temoted to attack tiny Israel?
(Reference: AMOS 8:8 + 9:5, EZEKIEL 13:14* + 38:19* and PSALM 79:4-10) Isn't "GOD'S WORD" pleasing to his arrogant "SAINTS" ? ? ? (Ref: MALACHI 3:15-18). Amen. (The Bible tells me so, sir).
The best way to behave for USA about losing competition with china during the last decade is that USA and allies conceede their loss and try to be a respectful competitor and correct their faults, may be they can catch up with China, what seem to be unlikely. But USA must never think of leadership of the world as long as China exists, what is eternal fact. No problem, there are many people, nations in the world that are not competence to lead the world one of them is USA, as a matter of experience. Leadership is not dictatorship, it is matter of wisdom. One can not get a just leadership, that is having real higher qualities than other, progressing the matter at hand by best way....
In this situation that China has won and continue to win, as everybody can realize, the best reaction has XI Chinese president proposed that is try to cooperate and work together, not be evil and try to destroy the income of the competition, that is to say a win-win relationship between winner China and losers USA and its allies. But genocide Biden and his wrong successor are not wise to understand this advice of wisdom by Mr. XI.
USA, like a child, is angry of its present situation and its bad future, which they forsee. Like an angry child who has lost and he hates to look at hid loss, and the result of their competition. Well it does not change the loser's situation if he get anger.
Try to play with fire, like matter of Taiwan and.... is not a wise solution for USA and its allies.
Well human, nation always have choices in such a situation, they can go wrong and do evil thing. Or they can chose friendship, work together... What Mr. XI proposed.
