China, Russia, Outer Mongolia relations : Comments ( 2 )

GTZ23I6CQ • 09-11 0 China is the home of all the 56 ethnics as there had been interactions since time immemorial including cross marriages historically. This is why the culture and tradition of the Mongols were preserved as part of China until today. Yuan Dynasty which was helmed by the Mongols housed both Outer-Mongolia and Inner-Mongolia. This is definitely part of the heritage and history of China. China is where Mongols truly belong side-by-side along with the other 55 ethnics. Notwithstanding an empire helmed by the Mongols that was so vast no other countries recognise themselves as home to the ethnic Mongols except for China. Clearly Outer-Mongolia is a breakaway province that was engineered by then's USSR to be its outpost and this outpost is assumed by Russia today which is now sought after by the US at the same time. Foreign occupied Outer-Mongolia will not bring peace to the ethnic Mongolians. GTZ23I6CQ • 09-10 0 In reality Outer-Mongolia is never ever the heritage of Mongolia. It is a product of Russian political exploitation of China. This is the true history. Mongols' home is in China. When China was weak, USSR exploitated certain Mongols' sentiment to cause the break away from the China family, humilitating China and its 56 ethnics. This is evident as Outer-Monglia was forced to strip off its culture by adopting the Russian Written Language. This has lasted for about 100 years long enough to evidence that Outer Mongolia was meant to serve as Russia's outpost. Today, US is vying for this outpost, through US' suggested term "Mongolia's 3rd Neighbor". Soon Outer-Mongolians will become Neo-Americans. Genghis Khan would have wanted to rise from his grave if he could to spank all the Outer-Mongolians. GTZ23I6CQ • 09-09 0 Mongolian culture is well entrenched in China. There are many Mongolian Yurts around in China. It is part of China and the Mongol culture stands out prominently in China. In China as part of the 56 ethnics, the Mongolian culture has 55 relative ethnics. This richness is definitely not present in Outer Mongolia. It is difficult to feel this big boisterous richly diverse joyous family feel in Outer Mongolia. Historically China and Mongolia have been 1 nation on and off. out of the last 500 years, 400 years were together except the most recent 100 years. The name China will be a fair and appropriate representation for all 56 ethnics. GTZ23I6CQ • 09-09 2 Is Mongolia a majority in this world? It isn't. The majorities are India, US, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Brazil, Bangladesh etc. These countries will exert influence. Outer Mongolia does not enjoy such clout. Outer Mongolia might have 1 vote, but this isn't worth much. Just like the 300 million Americans all whom have 1 vote each but are they worth anything? They don't want Trump and they don't want Kamala but do they have any choice? NO!!! How effective is their 1 vote each? The rich-poor gap in US has been widening with the poor increasing in numbers, they cannot get out of this conundrum. Outer Mongolia needs to understand the difference of collective strength and individual strength and the other 55 ethnics have proven this formula. For example Xinjiang, they are banding together. Tourists love the diversity there. In preserving Outer Mongolia's 1 vote, how much is Outer Mongolia losing overall? GTHIJ81J5 • 09-09 1 The Central and East Asian area is fast becoming the new modern socioeconomic powerhouse of the globe. They are leading the way.

GTYO2PVWP • 09-13 4 This is a excellent example of how two nations and friendly for that matter sit down and talk about whatever issues or problems peacefully and in a very gentlemen manner. Unlike the US and EU which instead of behaving like civilised people send war ships, sanctions and boycotts when they are unhappy about things or have problems with other nations. Any one looking at these two superpower leaders which can sit down and discuss matters is really assuring and heart warming. The US and EU and any countries for that matter should emulate China and Russia in how to conduct international relations. common sense • 09-14 1 Indeed! CHINA / DIPLOMACY China, Mongolia vow to expand cooperation Han Zheng calls for speeding up construction of economic corridor By Yang Sheng and Xu Keyue Published: Sep 08, 2024 11:23 PM Updated: Sep 08, 2024 11:56 PM Chinese Vice President Han Zheng meets with Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene in Ulan Bator, Mongolia, Sept. 7, 2024. Han visited Mongolia from Friday to Sunday upon invitation. (Xinhua/Liu Weibing) Chinese Vice President Han Zheng meets with Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene in Ulan Bator, Mongolia, Sept. 7, 2024. Han visited Mongolia from Friday to Sunday upon invitation. (Xinhua/Liu Weibing) Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met with Mongolian leaders during his visit to the country from Friday to Sunday after his trip to Russia for the Eastern Economic Forum, with the two sides vowing to deepen ties and expand cooperation. During his three-day visit, Han met separately with Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene, President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh and Parliament Speaker Dashzegve Amarbayasgalan, the Xinhua News Agency reported. Chinese analysts said Mongolia attaches great importance to ties with China, and as a key neighbor of both China and Russia, Mongolia can play a significant role to boost regional development. In his meeting with Oyun-Erdene, Han called for cooperation in energy, connectivity and infrastructure construction, as well as consultation and coordination in international and regional affairs between the two countries. China welcomes Mongolia's designation of 2023-2025 as the "Years to Visit Mongolia," and stands ready to strengthen exchanges with Mongolia's youth, students and media. The Chinese vice president also expressed hope for deepening cooperation among China, Mongolia and Russia, calling for the speeding up of the construction of the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor. For his part, Oyun-Erdene said that Mongolia is willing to work with China to push forward bilateral relations in a new era in the spirit of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and common development. Before Han's visit, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Mongolia earlier this month, which shows that both China and Russia treat Mongolia as an important partner and crucial neighbor, said Cui Heng, a research fellow with the Center for Russian Studies of East China Normal University. Cooperation between Northeast China and Russia's Far East will boost the regional integration of Northeast Asia, and with Mongolia as part of the region, it will surely be included in the grand plan and will benefit by this process. The China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor is a great example of this, Cui said. China, Mongolia and Russia share a common desire to boost regional development and interconnectivity. This is not only good for the three countries but also shows that international cooperation is still functioning despite the interruption by bloc confrontation and protectionism, Da Zhigang, director of the Institute of Northeast Asian Studies at Heilongjiang Provincial Academy of Social Sciences, told the Global Times on Sunday. Da noted the trilateral cooperation, which traditionally focuses on energy and mining, will be further expanded to the areas of climate change and green development. China commemorates September 18 Incident

CHINA / SOCIETY China commemorates Sep 18 Incident Japan’s right-turning trend reignites concern among peace lovers worldwide By Xu Keyue, Xing Xiaojing and Yu Xi Published: Sep 18, 2024 09:45 PM People’s Liberation Army soldiers participate in a ceremony to commemorate the September 18 Incident at the 9.18 Historical Museum in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China's Liaoning Province, September 18, 2024. The ceremony was held to mark the 93rd anniversary of the September 18 Incident in 1931 when Japanese troops began the bloody invasion of China. Photo: Xinhua People’s Liberation Army soldiers participate in a ceremony to commemorate the September 18 Incident at the 9.18 Historical Museum in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China's Liaoning Province, September 18, 2024. The ceremony was held to mark the 93rd anniversary of the September 18 Incident in 1931 when Japanese troops began the bloody invasion of China. Photo: Xinhua Air raid sirens sounded in cities across China, ordinary citizens paid silent tributes, historical materials disclosed for the first time unfolded once again the tortured history to the public, and social media was flooded with messages of "Never Forget the National Humiliation"! China observed the 93rd anniversary of the September 18 Incident on Wednesday, marking a day of paying a poignant tribute to the past and making a clarion call for peace. While the war has long since ended, recent developments have reignited concerns among peace-loving people in China and the wider international community. Japan's record military budget and provocative words and actions on the Taiwan question and South China Sea issues, coupled with the controversial ritual offering by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida to the infamous Yasukuni Shrine last month, have raised alarms about the dangerous trend of turning right in Japanese politics, observers warn. Also, as Japan approaches the presidential elections of its ruling Liberal Democratic Party in late September, major factions dissolving amid political funding scandals has led to a chaotic situation in this election. The ineffective faction-led intra-party competition mechanism may give rise to populist politics designed to attract attention, further complicating Japan's political landscape and increasing uncertainty about its future direction, according to Chinese observers. In Shenyang, capital of Northeast China's Liaoning Province, the September 18 Incident History Museum hosted a ceremony that brought together representatives from various sectors of society to honor the fallen heroes. In a significant exhibition at the Memorial of Northeast China Revolutionary Martyrs, a rare national-level artifact was unveiled on Wednesday - a 1939 map detailing the Japanese military's systematic immigration of settlers into Northeast China, CCTV reported. On Chinese social media, the resonance of this commemoration was palpable. As of press time, the topic "93rd anniversary of the September 18 Incident" has garnered approximately 230 million views on Sina Weibo. In an interview, reflecting on the 93rd anniversary of the September 18 Incident, Yuji Miyamoto, president of the Japan-China Friendship Center and former Japanese ambassador to China, shared his insights on the historical significance of this event. "The starting point for our reflection on history must be the September 18 Incident," Miyamoto noted. Xiang Haoyu, a research fellow in the Department for Asia-Pacific Studies, China Institute of International Studies, told the Global Times that we still need to be vigilant against Japan's moves to stir up geopolitical conflicts and fuel an arms race in the region, bringing negative impact on regional peace and stability. The fundamental reason for this is that, Japan lacked an objective understanding of and deep reflection on its past, said Xiang.

If China is forced to take Taiwan back by force (this would only happen if the US breaks the ''One China Policy'', i.e. recognises Taiwan independence and establishes official diplomatic relations with it), it would still have the support of most non Western countries, as they recognise and follow the ''One China Policy''. China/the Chinese government can not afford to lose a war fought on China's shore and lose territory, but what will happen to the US hegemony if the US loses it, again (I know the Americans have a short memory that they don't remember they lost the Korean war to the Chinese). One thing is for sure, China is not going to drag the war on, it will be quick and decisive, everything in the way will be destroyed. China has been preparing for this for years, is the US ready? 53 Reply 6 replies @mralecto8998 1 year ago epic video. None of them is about Taiwan, but about being defeated. The first one is semiconductor. US might have to struggle in the end, not because of technology, but because of the massive loss of market share. The second one is the de-dollarization and the diminishing trust in Treasury Bonds in international market. Almost certainly US is losing its hegemonic power in this area, and its prospect in getting loans is diminishing. Hence economic hardship is looming. What is it going to do then with its military stockpile? This becomes very dangerous as it will have to dispose it in a war. There is only one war possible, that's against China. It is going to be a final act of suicide, as there won't be a winner. It will be an act of desperation. The civilization on both sides of the globe will be destroyed. The Washington's attitude at present is: "If I can't have it, you must not have it either". I just hope the next elected president of USA will have enough wisdom not to go down this path. 40 Reply 2 replies @paracelso875 1 year ago Good report Ben, Russia just warned Japan 2 or 3 weeks ago about leaving its pacific development and fast speed remilitarizing, Russia said it considers Japan's new posture Russia's security threat and of the Asia Pacific region. I would love peace, but that would require peace-seeking leaders on both sides. Our biggest hope for peace is an overthrow of the CCP and a rebirth of the culture of the Chinese people which was crushed by the CCP. Let's pray for peace and be prepared for anything that may come. Regardless of what happens the citizens of each country should never look with hatred towards each other but rather look to establish peace-seeking leaders elected by the public, putting the future of our children first. China will not be ruled, bullied or invaded easily if at all ever again. Prior to WW2 when japan invaded China it was a different country with many problems. It is not like that now. Japanese people I am sure do not want this fight but politicians don't care what the people want or think. Reply @philipjames5054 1 year ago You need to distinguish between the insane utterings of crazies in the US military and political elite, and what is remotely feasible. A successful war against China is would mean the destruction of China at a tolerable cost to the US in lives and infrastructure destruction. Such a task is beyond the pain threshold of the US. I cite the US debacles in Korea, Vietnam and the Middle East, particularly Afghanistan. I believe the fever pitch of anti Russia and China rhetoric is evidence of the frustration at the impotence of the US war machine. The idea of going to war against China is just plain ludicrous, and will never happen. Further, China and The US are still joined at the hip economically, so even in the event of a successful hot war, one in which the Nuclear option is not employed, economic destruction would be a result for the US. Of course, the US will posture in an attempt to stare down China, like the proverbial schoolyard bully, but that’s a different game altogether. The Chinese government has been threatening to invade Taiwan (and fight with the USA by proxy) for a while now and have been open about building an amphibious invasion force. The reason is because Taiwan is run by the KMT, the opposing force to the CCP/CPC during the Chinese Civil War and has been in exile on Taiwan since they lost the mainland in 1949. The KMT has had an alliance with the US since fighting the Japanese in WW2 so the US has made it clear it will defend the island. The Chinese government is being the aggressor here - please don't ignore the context here. You make it sound like the US is planning a preemptive strike against China out of some rivaly for geopolitical dominance. Edit: Adding context - the DPP is the pro-independence pro-US party, and they may win seats in the Taiwan 2024 election if they have US support in declaring its sovereignty. However they have yet to move on this, they don't want to end the status quo and start a war! Reply @bangthingneng9433 1 year ago West style Democratic belligerence somewhat poses much problems to the existence of others nations when they can't compete fairly or to exert dominance over the others. The point is, dominance are built upon the slavish obedient or dominating over servile followers thus achieve Greatness . Most of these belligerence nationalism took in the form of subtle manners & camouflage under Democracy . Looks , why is there uninvited US armies in Syria . Russian was there becos Syrian government ask for but not US. Now, US is controlling eastern regions of Syria that's oil riches regions . How could it be. Very Strange. When the Syrian are weeks, & Russian could not touch on this matters ( mind your own business though you are protecting Syria now) then suddenly US occupying eastern syria. As simple as that. I do not think US will let go anymore. The rest of the countries in these world & UN can't do anythings anymore ( UN is own by the west & not all of us as we may thought so - the world are living in pretentious manners, as simple as that) . The fact is only a country that is big & strong with dignity that would be able to protect the rest of the world right now. This is before this world is actually diverging into Democratic Feudalism with servile nations with servile adherence & fullishly submissive to its masters ( alliance of belligerence nations) of sorts. This world will only falls apart when the rest of the nations fail to recognise & deny to continue in their supports of all kinds unconditionally to a country that could liberate them & actually the liberations has already taken place in some forms which are not possible before the arrival of forces that contribute to it. The west knew about this while many others countries are still ignorance about this & may be drown in it & only to realise their liberations are gone for not playing the necessary roles in keeping to support the very much needed forces against ..... the forces that would again torn them apart. The bet is, if Russia couldn't bear anymore in its war with Ukraine , Syria would falls to US totally. Bye bye to Russia & welcome to China ( we are closer to you now). Also, the honourable writter Mr. Doug Casey predictions on Russian would breakups further would become a reality. Why ?. There are more to that & are not visible to many people. Probably, most countries are helpless & leaves as the way it is. It was already a preplanned & pre-meditated ways back earlier even before the Ukraine Russian war broke out. Together with its comrades in the middle east, they have far more objective then anybody would thought off for the their futures endeavour. The reasons is simple, to corner Russian then China. On the West part of Russia, you have Nato. How about southern Russia ( Syria woùld be idle location), contiguous to Russia & nearness to China .while on the eastern regions, you have Japan. You may ask why not Kazakhstan, uskbeskistan , Turkmenistan, etc - becos these nations have military pact with Russia. Towards peace & better world Bbc - Bang broadcast corp Reply @Bob-of-Zoid 1 year ago Since when is a (one) generals "Gut feeling" an official stance of the US military? It isn't. Sure, with everything that is going on, China may take advantage of the situation, and try to take Taiwan while everyone is busy defending Ukraine... But again, there have to be better indicators than a general stressing preparedness, who knows darn well that troops should always be prepared for the worse, and that in war "kill them or else give them the opportunity to kill you", is always taught and reinforced in order to succeed, and with as few casualties as possible. Absolutely nothing new! Do you think that in times of peace they teach our troops to not worry, because nothing is going to happen? I don't think so! You are making a mockery of our armed forces who train hard for when shit hits the fan, as if it could happen at any moment! We learned our lesson at Pearl Harbor, and in Vietnam, and I don't think it has been forgotten, or is being ignored! Yes, shit is a brewing, always has, and always will, but shit happens when it happens, not when someone screams "Armageddon", which happens every freaking day, and has for millennia! As it stands, China also would have a lot to gain in invading Russia, now that they have been exposed to be much weaker than self proclaimed, and the land is right where it would suit them best! Is it probable? Maybe not, but it is for sure a possibility. Just because you can do the math in statistics, in relation to human behavior the margins of error are increased greatly due to the human condition, which doesn't always make perfect sense. Reply @michaelmoore6484 1 year ago (edited) I've seen many of your videos and have so far agreed literally with everything that you have said, but I have to say that the portrayal of Japan in this piece is a bit unfair. It has been 80 years since WWII and in the meantime Japanese people have truly become peace-loving. And while right wingers who are war apologists do still carry weight in top Japanese politics (read: Liberal Democratic Party), the population is very pacifistic, and the government too, it can be said, despite sometimes tough words, has actually been restrained in actions in the past couple of decades, considering how far North Korea has gone in developing nuclear weapons and ballistic and cruise missiles and China in developing its missile capabilities and the navy. And yes, Japan is preparing for what might happen in Taiwan, and I personally feel very strongly against the possible war over Taiwan and especially the provocations and involvement of the US (which might involve Japan too in to the conflict), but you have to take into account that Japan has a territorial dispute with China over islands that are right next to Taiwan and that each country even in peace time routinely plans for war with neighbors, even when they are on friendly terms - and temper your argument accordingly. DEBATE: Will China or the USA COLLAPSE first? [MUST WATCH] The Jay Martin Show 196K subscribers Subscribe 4.2K Share Download 97,652 views Sep 15, 2024 Today on the Jay Martin Show, Jay is joined by renowned economist and professor - Richard Wolff. Professor Wolff is the founder of Democracy at Work, host of Economic Update and teaches at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In this interview we dive into the dynamics of U.S.-China competitiveness and explore the probable outcomes in the shifting global landscape. We compare the governance models of the three dominant powers over the past century: the Soviet Union's socialist system, the U.S.'s capitalist structure, and China's unique socialist-capitalist hybrid. A key focus is how China operates much like a corporation, with centralized vision and policy set by its leadership, while different levels of autonomy function similarly to executives, managers, and employees in a business. It is simply the outcome that an imperialist empire and its mafia gangs are going all their way to crash any possible rise of nations or a nation, in this case China, that have been successful with having alternatives to all form of its national developments (from economic, military, science, technologies etc.) without subservient to the imperialist system that has been imposed upon to the world. This main video should be focused on talking about why should US led West still being an imperialist empire and why it is constantly forcing every country to be subservient to it instead of being a responsible country and contribute to peace and human prosperity for all (and not the usual benevolence doublespeak bs). Anyone thinks otherwise are being so brainwash and indoctrinated about the core problem. Instead of trying to condemn the thieves, you are focusing on the victims. 23 Reply 2 replies @fatchiapk8706 2 days ago (edited) “What can carry you forward also can drag you down”-Chinese old saying is “Water can made a boat float also can made a boat sink…水能载舟 亦能覆舟”. 59 Reply 3 replies @birdpainter452 2 days ago One of the biggest factors not discussed to a larger degree is the cultural factor. Individuality is treasured in the US ( although fading fast) , in China, it’s the greater community. Because of that, there is a greater national unity in China to get things done. 25 Reply @AntiwarObserver 2 days ago (edited) In a nutshell, China is a socialist market economy, it's a mixed economy. The governmental structure facilitates centralized national planning and administration is decentralized at lower levels. Policy consultation comes through democratic processes at grass-roots level, bottom-up. China isn't anti-capitalists but capitalism is on a leash as the state doesn't allow capitalism to dictate the direction of the country. What you might find interesting the west learned a lot from the Chinese for centuries until the industrial revolution that spurred the west ahead, today the western companies that go to China are finding it difficult to compete with local companies, China has developed in many areas beyond what western companies can offer. 52 Reply 24 replies @dazedhavoc 2 days ago We can’t compete with the Chinese. 118 Reply 14 replies @Dikrad-bh5tm 2 days ago Hooray for my name sake professor Richard Wolff Far as I know he has not said one word wrong about America or China. Both countries are intensively connected to the rest of the world. We cannot have the 'us vs them' mindset. China is not the enemy. It has repeatedly said that it wants to a friend and collaborate with any country (including the US) to grow together, to deal with poverty and other existential threats like climate change, AI and nuclear weapons. No nation, including the US, would like to be encircled by 200 or more hostile military bases, have its coastlines patroled regularly, threatened with sea blockade of its trade routes in the seas off its coastlines by regular hostile navy exercises. Even more critical is seeing a part of its country being armed and encouraged to go independent. And then branded as aggressive, expansionist, and a threat to the world. The US, and the world, is stronger with China as a friend rather than treating it as the enemy. 5 Reply @BrandyHeng007 2 days ago God of Wealth vs Satan of Debts-Deaths. 159 countries support God of Wealth 59 Reply 6 replies @waterdragonclan9108 2 days ago Thank you Jay and Richard. Here in the South and East (and probably in certain parts of Europe), people are listening and appreciating his comments and views. Bottomline is the fact that the Western 'leadership' has become violently pathetic for that matter. What should have been a high level US national debate, has become a giant comedy show for the rest of the planet, with an associated sense of fear and hopelessness for the future. 4 Reply @bjung8858 1 day ago When the PRC first decided to change its economic approach, it was poor and didn't know how the Western System worked. China opened Special Economic Zones to test its plans while China prepared. The US sent some of its best businessmen to acquire benefits. But the Chinese sent its best business minded people to negotiate, and the Americans left empty handed or with ( to the Chinese view) a fair deal. Then the Chinese studied the HK, Singapore, Korean, Japanese approach and adopted this. This policy got China to where it is now. Where from here? BRICS. The World is sick and tired of the US and Western Imperialism. China's approach is benefitting Africa and the rest of the World. Later, the US and Europe will be contained and isolated. Europe will turn against the US as China did to the Soviet Union. Then, the US will implode like the Soviet Union from its own toxicity. 2 Reply @AliceBucura 2 days ago I came across your channel through this video- case studies are incredibly valuable, and I'm eager to see more in the future! Reply @YoRock1976 3 days ago (edited) I disagree with Professor Wolff when he dismisses outright that tens of millions of immigrants illegally entering into the US. have no negative economic impact on our country. Leaving aside the political and sociological consequences of this mass migration, the economic consequences are an increase in demand for local services and finite resources. This increase in demand is not accompanied by an increase in revenue, which results in straining the quality and availability of services provided by schools, hospitals and law enforcement agencies, to name just a few. Accordingly, state and local governments must become increasingly reliant on the financial assistance of the federal government in order to function, which I believe is one of multiple reasons globalist elites are driving this influx of immigrants into the US and Western Europe. 5 Reply 2 replies @cat6th363 2 days ago I can't help to feel envious of Prof. Wolff student's. Against all odds it chose to be a Democracy. * Despite every prediction of doom a nation of 1450 million, with an electorate of 900 million has continued to be a Democracy over the last 75 exceedingly difficult years. * It had a vastly unequal society, ripe for revolution & mayhem, as im China, with millions of deaths. Instead, democratic India, over 75 years has quietly succeeded in politically empowering the backward castes and instituting a unique Affirmative Program with massive subsidies & reservations in education & jobs going up to 50%. Reply @arthurhwang117 2 days ago I have one gripe and will get this out of the way first : which is WHY do the Americans never get the pronunciation of proper names even vaguely correct ? It is SO EASY to do today - you just Google Translate the Chinese term and they actually GIVE YOU the correct pronunciation in AUDIO. So for someone to be so lazy as to not even do this and completely mangle the pronunciation of Chinese names when doing a podcast ON CHINA is to me unforgivable. Zheng He is not pronounced “Jeng Hey” as Jay pronounces it, but sounds like “Jung Her”. Please please just Google translate Chinese names the next time you do a podcast because totally mangled pronunciations come across as really unprofessional to anyone who knows how it SHOULD be pronounced. You only have to do this ONCE and you will know it for the rest of your life. (and for all future podcasts !!) As this has been a bit long, I will dissect some of the content in a separate comment. 1 Reply @Mark-ez2vw 2 days ago Digital silver in a digital age, litecoin is a digital precious metal, not a security. Litecoin is the oldest coin on the market after bitcoin, since its inception in 2011. The scarcity of litecoin is the key feature of its technology. Everyone tends to flock to digital silver and digital gold, litecoin, and bitcoin, when things aren't going well. Litecoin is a decentralized digital commodity, just like bitcoin, but not even close so heavily concentrated in a few hands like bitcoin is. Both have Proof-of-Work consensus, and both have a limited supply of coins. Only that litecoin is lighter, swifter, and hugely undervalued against bitcoin. Litecoin (LTC) being a digital commodity provides a decent inflation hedge as well because there will be mined only a limited number of 84 million litecoins in total. This way, people could see how nice these cars are and it would increase demand and make the consumer fight to reduce or eliminate tariffs. However, it is an absurd way to solve the economic and population problems, not to mention that its lawlessness is incompatible with the legal foundation our country is built on. We have a legal immigration system, which can import the needed immigrants based on our requirement. Currently we have over 10 million illegal migrants coming in from the southern border, if we increase our merit based immigration quota up to 10 millions per year, we controls what kind of skills we want to import, how many people we import, and we know exactly who we import. It has to be a pure academic discussion to criticize European and American people do not like uncontrolled illegal migrants walking in from the open borders because the local people are stupid to understand the economic benefit that these illegal migrants bring to them. In reality, maybe the reason that the common people focus on the harm that the illegal migrants brought to them is to fight a political fight, to stop illegal migrants, to improve and open up the legal immigration system like the one described above, or better. If that is the case, these European and American common people may be more right than the economic puritans. Our success is measured by economics, but not everything is economical. 1 Reply @julians472 2 days ago Professor Wolff is fantastic! I believe no other country like China would have done multiple surveys to the public and been iterating its policies and laws based on those surveys and criticisms, rather than some indoor negotiations or performatic debetas that needed a fact check, between those in the highest positions of the hierarchies(so-called leaderships) and set a policy which is not making sense at all for four years. China is so dependent on it's trade. It is dependent on imports of just about everything to survive, it has very little resources and 1.3 billion people that need to be fed and served. It's military is so huge but not a formidable fighting machine. China is surrounded by very angry neighbors that it has bullied for many years. 2 Reply 2 replies @yuglesstube 2 days ago I must respectfully disagree. This priblem goes beyond economic rationalism. The societal consequences of deindustrialisation are terrible. We can't compete with China. Not directly. We have a totally different system of economy that requires relatively high levels of pay and benefits, which is as it should be. Sending us back to the 20s would cause a civil conflict. Protectionism is sometimes the only way to protect our way of life. From economic perspective, this tariff totally does not make sense, it will hurt the economy no matter which side you are on, it is a lose lose situation, wrong and stupid. However, from political point of view, to manage the well being of our own country, it is clear as a hell without tariff or other political measurements, American industries will be crashed one by one. To say "American has to improve its productivity" is pure academic naivety and not serious. We have a high wage, high benefit, highly regulated working environment comparing to the developing countries, our working class people are much more conscious with their human rights and other rights related to the workplace than the working class people from the developing countries. We always refer to the tariff as tariff war, everybody suffers, totally negative. However, nobody wants the second world war too, economically speaking everybody got bankrupt. But if we did not fight the war, Nazi fascist could be the new world order. China is a communist country adopting capitalistic economic system for little over 30 years, China can change back to the communist economic system through its political system over night, and no one can stop it, even it means that everyone has to sacrifice economically, because Chinese media are totally under the control of its political apparatus. If we do not like Nazi's new world order, and we went and fought with that political system with real war, maybe it is reasonable if we do not like communist political system to be the new leader of the future, we can fight it with tariffs. We may still lose, like old Roman empire, and we have no one to blame but ourselves. Reply 1 reply @sethmiller5414 2 days ago He is so off base on the quality of the Chinese electric cars.
