So if all the 8 people who should have buried him, died doing so, then how do we know what happened to them?

Actually , Autumn & Spring together with the Warring States Period are far more richer stories , there are far more kingdoms till the establishment of Qin State as an Empire.....more interesting people too Three Kingdoms were pale compared to those periods...

He gave false hope to Liu Bei after Heaven indicated it's intention with regards to the Sima family who helped people remembered the unity of Chinese civilization thru the Jin Dynasty. His defiance led to his early death as his personal cultivation was insufficient to overcome human attachments with regards to his friendship with Liu Bei. And there is another story about Zhuge Liang's grave involving Liu Bowen and the term Jiayu which contradicts some of the details of this version of Zhuge Liang. The Liu Bowen version makes Zhuge Liang even more OP. If Zhuge Liang had instead taken steps to help with the establishment of the Jin Dynasty, the chaos of the Three Kingdoms could have ended earlier.
